I would call that a WF role. Very few of Europe's top teams play with orthodox 'wingers' anymore.

He is blatantly going to end up playing as a striker. At Bayern he has featured on the left and on the right. At Juve he played down the middle. To me he looks like a player who will end up down the middle.

Besides my point was mearly as Club we've neglected signing top young strikers/forwards. We used to be renowned for our scouting network etc.. Seems we haven't bought a quality young striker in a long time while our rivals have been snapping them up.

Bayern do, and Coman plays a classic winger, even for France he played the same role, Coman is an old school winger, he is clearly the long term Ribery/Robben replacement, with some wide players, you can tell that they might have a future as a striker, not Coman, his strength is his insane ability to beat his full back, so far he has shown no signs of having the movement or finishing ability to play as a striker.

Being linked by various sources to Porto's 21 year old wonder kid Andre Silva.

Now this is the kind of signing I want to us us making more of. This kid has alot of hype around him for sure won't come cheap but certainly has World Class potential.

Lukaku is still only 23 and looks on course to get 30 goals this Season. (scored 25 last Season)

Still at a smallish Club - he is a realistic target. Would love to see him at Arsenal could be an absolute beast by the time he's 27-28.

On what planet is he a realistic target?

Bayern, PSG, Madrid, Juve, City, Chelsea and United would all be ahead of us in the pecking order. I guarantee you he would choose any of those clubs ahead of us in a heartbeat.

He's still at Everton. There are No deals in place with any big Clubs. That makes him an attainable target - we would just have to get in there first and match Evertons valuation.

Everton are not going to sell for probably under £60 Mil, and for that money I want my CF to have a decent first touch, also for that amount we could have be looking at two quality players.

Sanchez has done a pretty decent job done the middle, when I look at the current team, what we badly need is a guy to do the job Cazorla did for us.

Adebayor scored 20+ goals nine years ago in 2007/08. Only once since then has another of our players scored 20+ league goals. Shameful. But Sanchez probably will this year so forget Lukaku, leave Sanchez up front and buy some quality midfielders and wingers to support him.

Unless Aubemeyang chooses to come to us. I'd take him and then put Sanchez back on the wing!

I'm surprised you guys think Sanchez is staying. The writing is on the wall with him and to be honest, I don't blame him once he leaves.

I'm not sure about that. I would still bet on him staying.

Lacazette is proving to be the real deal.

27 goals in 31 games this Season. Would be another striker I would be keen to see at Arsenal next Season.

The Gunners have sent scouts to watch Napoli's 25-year-old Italy striker Lorenzo Insigne, who has scored nine goals this season. The Premier League club have also watched the Italian team's Algeria defender Faouzi Ghoulam, 26. (Tuttomercatoweb, via Sun)

    Thoughts on Insigne ?

Meh. I wouldn't take him over Giroud or Perez. Personally think it's only worth bringing in another forwards if they are TOP class.

John Cross (Mirror) is at it again.

Apparently Arsenals Summer plans are as follows..

    • Wenger to sign a two year deal.
    • Ox, Wilshere and Gibbs offered new contracts
    • Arda Turan is a target.
    • Monreal on way out. Kolasinac is replacement.
    • Lacazette main transfer target

Looks like my prediction of no top 4 next season is easy money, if that's going to be our summer plans. Talk about an underwhelming summer transfer window. for Wenger to have any chance of getting top 4, he needs to get some seriously good players in. Those mentioned won't make a dent, especially when you account for Wenger's amazing tactics on the pitch. We really need to do better than that.

I would have hoped that our Management would see sense and go all out to get Allegri after yet another managerial masterclass . Unfortunately i don't see this coming apart from yet another pointless season with Wenger. The blind leading the blind...

It would be great to see players of this class coming to Arsenal but in all honesty will they really want to come to us with no CL next season?
