    Will all of these players qualify for work permits? I do not know much about the left back, Kamara (with whom Watford were linked in the summer of 2020 before he signed for Nice) nor the defensive midfielder, Kayembe (his agent is Mogi Bayat who often recruits players for Watford), but I have some doubts about the central defender, Vida (who is 32 years old) if he is signed. He has never played in any of the top leagues (apart from one appearance for Bayer Leverkusen). He played well for Croatia in the finals of the 2018 World Cup, but I was less impressed with him in the finals of the UEFA European Championship in 2021. Will he have disciplinary issues in the Premier League? I hope that the other unnamed central defender will turn out to be a quality player.

    I suppose all clubs are the same but we really do have a sense of unpredictability about our signings .

    Of course they deserve a chance though - some fans are quicker to judge them than others .

    Wonder if we will try to get a loan from a Premier league club - think we are allowed one more ?

    We would only need him for six games, eighteen points added to thirteen (is it a coincidence we are stuck on 13 points and Dennis is stuck on 13 goals and assists) would be 31 points with 10 games to get the rest we will need

    Shades of Okaka there - but I have to say that, in spite of it being a rather clever finish, the opposition's defence looks far worse than ours is at the moment.
