For me I cant see Harry signing anyone on a deal that goes past the end of this season it is just to much of a risk given our current plight.

So although I am not a big Anelka fan or see Robbie Keane as a savior they are proven, experienced PL players who have the intelligence to fit in and intergrate quickly with the team and the system and hopefully score the goals required for us to stay up. Anelka would get no more than a contract till the end of the season and Keane will be a short 3 month loan.

Joe Cole again is all of the above, whether we need another midfielder or not is a big question but with possibly Derry and Granero going and Taarabt off to the African Nations it could leave us a bit light in the centre of the park and I can see Joe Cole getting a new lease of life under HR with a loan deal till the end of the season.

And as for the centre back issue, well it seems Dawson is a no go and with the amount of money that deal would take to pull off I cant see Harry taking that sort of risk, for me I can see a loan deal till the end of the season for Chris Samba as the only viable option.

Harry did a couple of similar short term deals at Spurs last year with Nelson and Saha to plug gaps and has proven in the past to be a shrewd operator so although we seem to be going for players at the end of there careers I dont think the kind of deals that were dished out to Bosingwa and Park will be offered, it will be till the end of the season or nothing until our PL safety is secured.

In Harry we should trust!! Come on you Rrrrrrrrrr's!

I think I was the only one who mentioned Anelka at that time :)

Anelka, 3 goals in 22 games in the Chinese league, thats a Hughes type signing and I will be gutted if we get him.

In fact I dont want anyone listed here so far apart from DJ being recalled and Samba.

For sure the In will be DJ recalled and Young don't mind Anelka and Lampard

Outs are easier Granero, Bosingwa, Park, Hoilett, Dyer and possibly Cesar

This is what we've heard rather than what we want, isn't it?
In addition to the above, Crouch and Kenwynne Jones as targets.

Flanners - Cesar for sale? Who says? Likewise Hoilett and Park. If we sell all these guys it will be a bad sign - lightening the wage bill in anticipation of relegation.

I would expect (no rumor as far as I know) that we will also try to offload Boothroyd permanently, though this could be tricky, he's been a twat at Wednesday.

Reckon Utd might take Fabio back if he's not getting game time.

Still think the basic squad is strong enough, decent CB and striker on loan should see us through. Young back for RB cover, DJ as 4th choice striker (I'm not a fan, sorry).

I am not a betting type but had £50 on QPR to win the league ... Today I see a couple of players on loan as Harold is on record at today's press conference as saying the club will not get shafted by inflated prices. We will have Nick from Japan who to be honest i would be very pleased about as he has mix it. Zamora, Anelka, Cisse, Mackie maybe a centre back ... Harold has already said on record today that if we need to go with the current players no problem , he is only bringing in the right sort of player ... we will be mid table by end of Feb .. Believe
