    Premier League
    Won 2
    Draw 1
    Lost 1

    7 points from 12.

We beat West Brom away and West Ham at home. The draw at home to Wigan was disappointing but we finished the month on a high and well needed 3 points.

The FA Cup result at Old Trafford was a battering too but the signs are good for the usual good second half to the season. Hopefully!

    Happy with 7 points?

We've only got 2 games in Feb, away to Norwich and home to Stoke. I'd like to think we'd win one of them. Then it will be just 3 more wins for safety.

Happy with the points but overall happy with the performance in the last 2 games. Something has started clicking.

I believe we can win both February games if we play the same way. On the positive side is that till the Stoke game there will be a break of 2 weeks where new signings will have time to embed.

4 wins to safety and more optimistic than 2 weeks ago.

Not bad at all, certainly better than you'd think. We look to be getting our mojo back, let's hope we can keep the momentum up

Certainly more committed League performances and the fans back on side, which was good. A decent transfer window, which gives much needed cover in midfield and an encouraging cameo start by Urby.

Also good news on the financial front with the balance sheet showing a substantial (in relative terms) revenue increase last year and of course MAF's benevolent gift ensuring a debt free future.

However, in the words of the politicians, "there's much still to do" for, as the Boss said today,

"First you need 36, 37 points. After that about 40 points, it's always the same," Jol said. "But if you've got to wait for that until the last game of the season, you'll probably end up in hospital just before that, which is not what you want!"
