Can't see Michu going anywhere, he came here because of Laudrup so can't see why he'd want to leave, he's turned down big clubs before cos he knew where his bread was buttered. Agree that we need defensive cover and a goal scorer though. Maybe put a bid in for Suarez, he may fancy his chances of winning something with the mighty Swans
Agree with Dai, never say never ! i think we may see a bid from david brent for our boys but in the summer, im not sure we will lose anyone purely due to the fact the big clubs will be unsure of their qaulity, michu was offered to Man utd apparently but they didnt take up the offer.
Weren't Man city and Liverpool also interested in Michu last year? As I think you pointed out before Norway, maybe the bigger clubs would have been more interested if he had a £20 million price tag. Isn't there some rule about not being able to be contracted to more than 2 clubs within a year, or is that within a season?
yeah there is some rule about that kind of thing but not sure what the details are though.Lucky for us the big teams look ok up front at the moment the only team i can think of for michu would be...Liverpool !! spurs,everton,newcastle,chelsea,man city and utd all look ok to me, maybe arsenal but wenger likes his young french boys doesnt he.. I would imagine dyer being a Rodgers target, can't see him coming for him till the 12 months is up though
What I'm about to say isn't really a rumour, neither is it even a target that I think we should go for - but I'd love to see us sign Zaha just to see if he ever gets picked for England again. How does he get picked ahead of Routledge and Dyer who are similar players performing well in the Premier League (especially Wayne this season)? Odd...
Liverpool have Sterling who is a very similar player to Dyer so I would be surprised if they come in for Nathan.
