Hulks available on a free - I know he’s 34 but can see him fitting in a treat here in our system wide right, particularly as an impact sub

Is it worth us enquiring about Zaha? He’s available.

Hulk????????? Absolutely incredible! I know the future's green, but I don't think we should compromise by having a slow, fat bloke on the right wing.

Would love us to go in for Brooks, Like him a lot and there may be a chance now Howe has gone. Its going to be tough for Bournmouth to not sink even further. Small ground (granted they will all be empty for a while) and paying prem wages. Ake looks like he has already gone and cant see Wilson staying either.

Big breaking reports today that we’ve had a £50m bid rejected for Barcelona’s young striker Trincao. Anyone got any thoughts?

Know nothing about him other than what has been in the media today. The bits i like are a) we may have money to spend and b) we seem to be planning a long way ahead. He is only 20 and its a 2 year loan plus option to buy. Earlier Rodgers did say most of our business would be loans so this sounds great. Slightly separate but also read Silva may be off to Russia and Ghezzal staying in Italy. Hope both are true and raise some money.

Rumours that Barcelona are after Soyuncu and are willing to have Trincao in the deal - Soyuncu's agent already represents 2 Barcelona players in ter Stegen and Wague.

We are also interested in Tarkowski from Burnley but they want £50m.

So far we are going to lose

Schmeicel - to Man united or Chelsea
    Soyuncu - to Barcelona
    Chilwell - to Chelsea
    Maddison - to Man united
    Barnes - to Liverpool
    Iheanacho - to Villa

Does all get a tad boring during the silly season - probably the only one that's got real legs is Chilwell?

You cant see the attraction for Schmeichel if the Man Utd rumour is true? I can.

Now a Schmeichel/Henderson swap I could get behind...
Schmeichel is a legend but age is catching up and for all his worldie performances he made some howlers at the end of the season. Henderson looks to be the next England number 1.

Tsimikas, left back at Olympiakos we were interested in has signed for Liverpool.

Today's rumours suggest Chelsea are interested in Schmeichel. I don't understand why Man U would be, I know De Gea has made mistakes this season but he's still a very good keeper, I'm not seeing Kasper as an upgrade and they've Henderson.

Lyon are prepared to sell former Chelsea winger Bertrand Traore this summer with Newcastle, Leicester, Everton and Crystal Palace all keen on the 24-year-old Burkina Faso international. (Sky Sports)

Also we are apparently still going all out for Trincao - it’s the same scout who identified Pereira so got a lot of trust there!

Plus, Otamendi is available for £8m. Would be a terrific signing in my eyes.

Leicester City have shown interest in Burnley's20-year-old English winger Dwight McNeil. (Sky Sports - via Leicester Mercury)

Leicester and Nigeria striker Kelechi Iheanacho, 23, is the target of a loan move by Turkish club Fenerbahce. (Fotospor - via Sport Witness)

on another note, Gotze is available on an free and whilst not the player he used to be could work great rotation with Maddison with our large fixture list next year

Of all the first team squad he is the one we could probably afford to let go with the least disruption to the balance of the squad. Surprised really as he had a great bromance going with Maddison who appears to be staying.

Agreed - the most ‘disposable my of all our top players attracting interest. Just hope we get the replacement right - shame is that the one who went to Liverpool sounded perfect. Bit too much to expect Thomas to step up so soon after so few games. Fuchs I think is past it as a LB but superb as part of a back 3. Shame that this year there appears to be so many teams also strengthening in the same position.

I think James Justin could do a job on the left.
