No option or obligation to buy in this deal. It's not ideal but I will take it Ceballos improved alot under arteta

Bayern have made an enquiry to sign Bellerin.

Its funny PSG, Bayern and Juve have all shown an interest in the Spaniard yet Arsenal fans still dont rate him.<doh>

    So Gabriel is official.

who is next to be announced - Auba or Danni

Then new contracts for AMN and Martinez

as for new signings - Partey is a possibility and so is Aouar - what do we all think

    Quality signing!
Soo I made this like 6 weeks ago talking about players I wanted us to sign. Now it looks like it may actually happen. <yikes>
Really hope we dont sell Martinez - I think he is currently the better keeper to Leno.

If this happens - I think we will be a serious challenge to City and Liverpool.

I know its still fantasy football at this point - we have to sell in order to bring in anyone but that could be a QUALITY squad.
Physically strong and creative with a good bench.

I think Auba will play at CF and Willian on the wing.
the starting 11 and squad starting to look so good - mix of experience and youth

I think we can sell these easily:
    Sokratis
    Mustafi
    Torriera
    Chambers

    we will struggle to sell:
Ozil as he doesn’t want to go and wages high.
Guendozi as his attitude puts buyers off

don’t want to sell but if the price is right:
    Bellerin
    Leno

    must keep:
    auba
    amn
    martinez

Looks like we will most likely sell Bellerin.

Im OK with that as long as the money is right. He has not really pushed on for me since breaking into the team as a teenager.

The papers are reporting PSG bid £25m plus addons. I would have thought he would be in the £40m range as contract till 2023 so no need to sell

Yeah - I cant see him leaving for less than £40m - although historically we have a history of letting players go too cheap.
    Hope we keep Hector.

Would rather we sold Torreira, Guendouzi, Holding, Socrates, Mustafi, Elneny.. but they have to raise funds for Arteta's main targets

Wouldn't surprise me if he's pushing for a move. I would keep him but a change in scenery would be good for him.

I highly doubt he's wanting to move - he seems like one of the few true Arsenal fans have have in the squad.

I gotta stop checking Twitter 4-5 times a day for transfer updates. :emoticon-0107-sweat
If the rumours are true (which they seem to be.. Ornstein, Charles Watts etc.. all reporting) We are after Partey and Auoar. So how could we feasibly fund these transfers when we all know there's no or very little money available?

Thomas Partey - £45m (release clause.)
    Hassem Auoar - £55m

Let go - Mkhiratian. Saves us £11 million this year on wages.
(Possible ) If we can offload Mesut - thats £18million of the books - surely we can just cancel his contract? - he's not working. Also Saudi Clubs have offered to pay his wages if its just about money for him.

    Sell:

    Elneny - £10million
    Sokratis £3.5 million
Holding Loan - takes £2-3 million a year wages off the books
    Guendouzi - £30-50m.
    Torreira £25million
Kolasinac £8-12 million - plus high wages.

Then there's always as a backup plan: (Now ideally I wouldnt want to sell any of these but would let ONE go if it guarantees Arteta lands his main transfer targets.)
    Lacazette £35-40m
    Ainsley Maitland Niles £30m
    Hector Bellerin - £40m

Whole Bellerin would be nice to keep, his one big asset used to be his pace which has dropped off slightly. I think AMN is ready made to take on that role so I don't think Bellerin would be a big loss. Basically sell one of those two. Bellerin would probably fetch more money. And if it means Partey and/or Aouar then **** yeah.

All of the clubs he's linked with at the moment are all quite abit better than ours. The strongest link is with psg surely he has a better chance of trophies, more money and living in Paris must be a big plus for him seeing how much he loves his fashion. He's been at arsenal for his whole career I wouldn't hold anything against him for wanting to leave.

Things that are guaranteed in life spurs being in our shadow and former players regretting leaving us. Hopefully same happens with Gnabry and he can force a move back

to be fair I think this is a one off.

the days of players regretting leaving us are long gone I’m afraid.
