I don't condone violence but that kick on Balotelli was probably the funniest thing I've seen on a football pitch since Roy Keanes toys and pram incident. Oh and man of the match for me

It's good that a few of us have different men of the match. Janmaat had a cracking game.

I think they've bought a real gem with Janmaat. Once he's fully settled and up to speed I think he'll be a real star for us. Already at a very high level and I think more to come.

Agreed. Fantastic when the SMB tried to break for Liverpool and Janmaat stole it, charged forward and won a corner. He seems to be improving every week, surprised Van Gaal didn't want him Rafael is useless

Really rate Janmaat - when I saw him in the world cup, I thought he was a bit of good player. I still think he's a really good player.

But that tackle though, it could have sent us down to 10 men. Pardew needs to talk to him about doing tackles like that - ie at times when we've already won the game!!!

Looking back, it was funny though.

Pulp has you well and truly hooked by posting that thing on a loop. Just as you think it's over, it starts up again and you think "oh well, I'll just watch it once more (again)."

Janmaat is settling in well. His aggression will serve him well. Reminds me of Batty in that he couldn't give a **** who you are, you're getting smashed and hussled all day long.

He has been good so far and played well today. There is no question though he should have been sent off for that.

I loved the way that after he kicked him he thought," thats me off", and started to walk off the pitch down the tunnel, then looked back, saw the ref with his yellow card out and made a swift detour back onto the pitch. Class!!!

Exactly. No way should he be sent off. Instead the queen should send him a letter of commendation for services in the SJP war.

    "Dear Daryl

I must commend you on your quick action to deal with that pesky Italian. He keeps switching sides like any good italian, and it was time someone punished him for his treachery. Fine work.

Have a medal. It'll be the only one you get at that club.

    Yours

    Lizzy"

Sissokos tackle was a leg breaker too. And Taylor was being his usual amiable self at free kicks.

Sissoko's just looked bad slowed down. Nowt in it  Saylor's booking was ridiculous. There is a conspiracy against us.
