Pity, he looked like a great buy at the time. Going forward at least. Like many, hd seemed to lose heart with the club. Always a likely candidate to go if we were relegated. Just hope we get a decent fee for him.
Never really rated him. Spent too much time upfield and even when he was back in our own half more often than not someone had to come across and cover his arse! Not to mention that when he just loses interest which seemed to happen a lot he's just plain ****ing reckless and a liability on the pitch...giving stupid fouls away in dangerous areas or getting himself sent off....sometime both! I'll crawl to the airport on my hands and knees with the ****er on me back to get shot of him!

Hopefully, he'll remember his time here and learn that sometimes you have to earn a living,. Only two RBs needed now.
Unhelpfully, getting a championship worthy RB with potential to play in the premier league can be very expensive. We need to reforge our squad with pace and work-rate. Toney, Armstrong and being stuck with Mitrovic, we need a pacey striker. Rolando Aarons will play about 2 games before injury, so we need a new left winger. I hope Townsend gets out, so we'll need a pace right winger. Shelvey will have to stay, and he'll be decent, and ultimately nobody will want Anita and probably Saivet, so I think we need one more CM. Dummett will stay, Saylor I presume will stay, and Lascelles mean we are "sorted" for CB. Haidara (he lives, yes?) will be LB. Darlow or Elliot in goal. Not a bad championship outfit, and Wij, Tiote, Townsend, Janmaat, Mbemba, Krul, De Jong, Perez should be sold to fund some of the shortfall for Mike Ashley. I don't think we'll win the championship, I think this squad will get to about 8th-14th. With the addition of a RB, a CM, LW, RW, CF we would stand a chance. They have to be pacey though.
I think we'll let Taylor go (out of contract) but Colo may stay. I can see Thauvin playing for us next season and he'll probably do well. We should definitely try and keep Mbemba.
I think he should stop trying to be a defender and be played in right midfield somewhere - but not here. He doesn't have the right temperament and I could see him collecting quite a few red cards if he was still with us next year.
Seasons not even over and some of the players are showing their hands.................... classy. Clearly not up for the fight so best that he moves on and quickly.
Hope he doesn't get abuse, it never looks good slagging of your own players during a game and rumours of leaving whilst probably true are still press speculation at the moment. Would still happily sell him though. As for a replacement I think surprisingly Anita has been excellent there and if the toon get their fingers out with contracts Mbabu is a major contender so there's the two we need for the championship with the Jaanmat money open to be spent elsewhere.
