I don't have to watch the TV equivalent of NLBR this week because my wife is cat sitting for her daughter.
Don't tell me they have finally ended that dragged out story line.

Although to be honest, watching Liverpool v Besiktas was pretty turgid. Sturridge would not get in City's team playing like he did and throwing his dolly out of the pram over who took the penalty.

    :emoticon-0148-yes:

All soaps are absolute nonsense and prove just how gullible/stupid the viewing population is

I try not to slate crappy TV because I watch enough of it. It's hard for me to tell people that soaps are **** when I watch wrestling most weeks (which is basically a manly soap opera).

That being said, the amount of hype that the BBC has tried to generate for Eastenders is embarrassing. On the front page of the BBC site there was an article about throwing your own "Who Killed Lucy Beale Party". Anyone that took that article seriously is someone I wouldn't want to associate myself with.

I'm going to sound like an old man now, but I think the quality of the BBC's digital output has plummeted significantly over the past few years. Their news coverage has become extremely biased, their football coverage has nose-dived, and the TV output is lacking.

You'll find it was probably about 8m people, if you compare that to the halcyon days of TV in the 70s and 80s thats practically nothing!

Fools and horses and Morecambe and wise was 20m plus..
