11 games 13 goals 3 Penalties won 3 Penalties scored 2 Broken bones It makes me laugh reading all this crap where people are still questioning him He has been written off all his career. Written off by Sheffied Wednesday, written off even by us more then once, written off by the media countless times But he keeps proving people wrong
I had him in my Fantasy Premier lge squad on game week 1 & changed him at the last mo for Ulloa. So yeah, I´m guilty of the above. Got him back in about 5 game weeks ago mind, still lost out on about 50 odd pts though. DOH. P.s A good point v Manc Poo, which shows we shouldn´t be afraid of the `big boys`. "UTF"
I saw the clip of Henry talking about what Vardy has accomplished and its when you see stars like that articulating what a massive achievement this is that it made me go wow all over again. Cant be underestimated what he has achieved.
I don't believe that a lot of Leicester fans realise how huge of an achievement this actually is. Incredible achievement and should have received a nomination for SPOTY.
I don't think he should be looking at SPOTY, its got to be Fury or Hamilton this year, footballers will rarely win it outside of a World or European cup year.
Wouldn't be my choices .. Fury ended the long reign of one of the Klitschko's in a division sadly lacking in real quality... he does have some personality mind - but if he'd lost to Klitschko he wouldn't be anywhere in sight ... Lewis Hamilton predictably drove the best car in its' class to a series of wins followed by his team mate in the second best car ... the driver of the best car normally wins formula 1 .. personally I don't get all the hype ...it's arguably the most predictable sport in existence ... You've got Chris Froome who has won the gruelling Tour De France twice now ... and Mo Farrah who keeps pulling out 5k 10k doubles at the pinnacle events in his sport ... for me either would be more deserving as would Jess Ennis-Hill and Lizzie Armistead ... but it's all about opinions
You could have kept this footballing genius - how **** has he become? http://www.yorkshireeveningpost.co....immy-bullard-in-finishing-challenge-1-7601541
Never mind Sports Personality, here is a real award - Vardy's first club have named one of their 3 stands after him! http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...-Leicester-s-record-breaking-goal-scorer.html
He broke the record before the Fury fight & you can't tell me he'd have been inclued if he hadn't won, Fury that is.
Thats the thing about SPOTY, someone like Vardy will haveto perform at a level alomst as good as he is now for the course of about 38 games to get a nomination, Fury has had 2, yes 2, fights all year.
... the title of the award is a bit of a misnomer anyway ... Damon Hill won it once for coming second in the motoring equivalent of syncronized swimming ... how somebody with absolutely zero charisma could win a personality award for failing (or at least a modest acheivement) is nonsensical IMHO ... Formula 1 traditionally does well in this event - Nigel Mansell was another sparkling personality to win ... the only thing I personally find interesting about Lewis Hamilton is Nicole Sherzinger ... indeed I don't get the formula 1 thing at all tbf - a sport where the outcome is fundamentally about having the best performing car ... but I accept I might be in a minority
Maybe if Vardy matched this guy he would get nominated http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/34997314
Everyone talking about Vardy and SPOTY but what about Leicester City for the team award? If it's for 2015 as a whole then bar a few game early in the year we've smashed it and due to a strong team ethic
