So he will be at Liverpool next season then! Seriously though IF true I would be delighted but I'd have thought Woy would want to look at him for a few more games yet.
http://www.teamtalk.com/england/9493524/- Found this article on it. Who was the last City player to play for England full team? Ian Walker and Tim Flowers spring to mind but in terms of outfield players.
I see the San Marino match is a week Thursday so the squad must be named soon. How long before the matches do England name squads? I never pay attention tbh. If Vardy got the call and played San Marino at home is the perfect match for him to have a go. I'd fancy him to score you know
This was on the club facebook page a few weeks back. Walker is the last, playing 45 mins in a friendly against iceland. Guppy was the last outfield player and Heskey before that
Don´t think he´s ready tbh. He´s a good player with pace & an eye for goal but england ? May be Woy should just sit back & carry on watching him at least until Jan to see what he really can do in the prem. Don´t get me wrong it´ll be good to have a LC player in the England squad but I just think it´s far too soon to be thinking about him considering his footballing back ground.
Personal opinion I think Vardy is good enough and would do well but he shouldn't be called up yet 1 great performance and 1 decent one shouldn't earn him a call up
I believe Vardy is fantastic but if one goal in one great performance is enough to get a call up then he is a long way down the queue and England are in an awful position. One day maybe if he continues to perform but not yet.
Be careful what you wish for because one moment he'll be making his England debut and a few months later he'll sign for a bigger club.
Hes had 1 good game against Man U recently, i think England call-up is waaaay off, as in next year at the soonest.
Cant see him leaving anytime soon He just signed a new 4 year contract. He loves Nigel Pearson and the club wont sell unless it was. Ridiculous offer
It does seem soon but with it being two years until the tournament you can see why Woy is calling players up now. At least it gives time to settle and get used to playing for England rather than having new call ups approaching the euros. Maybe in the first internationals in 2015 if he kept the form up would've more appropriate though
England are after someone that can play on the left wing so can see it happening - will most likely be like Nugent and appear for a minute at the end of a meaningless friendly.
But you did get some decent prices for your players though Pie. Surprised about how well you are doing. Thought you may struggle with so many changes. Tin Tin looks like he has settled in well. Hope Snowy is ok.
