Seems strange! Lee Martin Hasn't played a single league game, is on a similar 2 year contract, not expected to play this year, O'Hara whose injury was apparently not severe is gone, conspiracy theories abound.

Respect to jamie for not taking the money when not fit to play. He has planta fascitis in his foot which meant he will not be fit to play for some months. So said better to release me rather than play me. Never know he could still play for us in the future if foot heels enough.

I have the same condition ( stabbing pain in the base of the heel ), in my 'good' foot - or at least, I would have it if I hadn't stop playing football ! It's very painful - more so after a game, and takes ages to heal - so I'm not surprised that O'Hara is struggling with it -- and I also applaud him or not taking money for nothing
