could jamie cureton be on his way back from exeter. his agent is in talks with the gas heads amongst other clubs. cureton was inspirational with the grecians up front last season

Every year he get's older will be another year closer to retirement. Do you take the risk?

exeter did, took a big chance, he nearly got them to the play offs. he could/would not play for simmo and earned a fortune which upset players etc. he would have to lower his wage sights, but in an occasional bath chair he would be inspirational and on target

I appreciate he did well last year, but with us he was dire (& some say Harrold is bad, eh!).

Bradshaw is a greater threat to defences IMO.

Exeter play a very neat style of efficient passing football and cureton obviously thrived on that despite being 37, in comparison to when he was here in a struggling team.
In a nutshell- Give him the service and he will stick them away. He's proven at above this level, but will our midfield give him bullets to pull the trigger with, the likes of Wroe etc? Greg Tansey from County and Ashley Grimes(free agent) would improve the creativity no end

He was given a few bullets to fire for Shrewsbury but was consistently wide of the mark.

He came with a tag around his neck stating he couldn't hit a barn door from five paces and showed that the tag was true. Supply was and still is the problem at town.

BTW - Greg Tansey is now at Caledonian Thistle

Wasn't entirely his fault but no point in going back, for us or him.

"Greg" a player i have been looking at for a long time, but i don't think will make a big impact anywhere, far too inconsistent, but when on top of his game he can be awesome, but just doesn't happen often enough

although the gasheads wanted him, my info is he will see out his career for the grecians. another good season for exeter city then. 37 and still going. paul tisdale turned out for exeter in their last game of the season. paul in his forties is an excellent manager
