apart from the Nani incident and his storng scouse accent, he's starting to grow on me as a pundit, we're in a position like Liverpool fans were with Gary Neville but he's won them over and i can see Carragher doing the same, for me he's got to be one of the top 3 pundits alongs red nev and Graeme Souness
Haven't seen him yet but Neville has been a good change from the usual clowns, Souness is a dour ****
I've changed my mind on him, i find him very annoying, he's an ABU ( unsurprisingly he did play for liverpool ), he's always look at Gary Neville for re-assurance all the time.
I think he's a good pundit, sure he's got a little bit of a Liverpool bias, but like Neville he tries to remain neutral, but it's not always easy. Him and Neville are easily the best pundits around IMO.
agreed but i wish he would stop saying '' we'' with regards to Liverpool, you don't see Gary Neville saying '' we'' when talking about United.
A lot of pundits still do that. Desailly has slipped a few times and said it in regards to Chelsea. Keown has said it about Arsenal. When you spend your entire career somewhere and become part of the clubs furniture, I guess some people may find it hard to detach themselves from the club.
That's true, but i haven't heard Neville say '' we'' when talking about United once since he's been at sky.
he says "we" when talking about Liverpool.... **** me what an utter ****!!! cut his balls off and feed them to him the cheek of the bastard! who doesn't he think he is saying "we" that's it now me and carra are done, no longer a legend in my eyes, should hand in his resignation tbh.. idiot.
What difference does it make if someone is biased. You are biased as **** Meth....more so than anyone I know. I know you are not paid to give your opinions on TV (Thank God), but pundits always favour their old clubs, Lineker with Spurs and Leicester, Hansen and Lawro favour Liverpool, Shearer favours Newcastle...and so on...... Saying "we" is far from the worst offence. If you want to look at disgusting bias and bile, then look no further than Alan Green.
because i'm a fan, there's a huge difference in being a pundit and a fan. He's apparently an England fan despite being from Northern Ireland.
