Jamie Carragher slams Arsenal players for dressing-room celebration shots and selfies posted on Instagram after Sunday's win at Manchester City Shhh........Don't tell Jamie about the Saints..........eek http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...ation-shots-Sunday-s-win-Manchester-City.html
He took one of Himself, Neville, Ed Chamberlain and Others, anyway. Double standards. Perhaps he's just piddled off because Liverpool players don't have any real reason to get the camera out..?
I understand where he is coming from. These pictures only use to happen when there was a giant killing or a cup/trophy win. He needs to get use to the era of social media.
Tbf, I can see Carragher's point to some extent.... For a 'big' club like Arsenal, a club with title ambitions (realistic or not) beating Man City away shouldn't be THAT big a deal. One could argue it shows a lot about the mentality at Arsenal....
My thoughts exactly. The way the article was written makes it sound like Carragher is getting his knickers in a twist, but really he was just saying "steady on lads, you've won one game, not the Title".
If I was a player I'd tell him where to get off. All that selfie stuff is great for keeping team morale on a high. Plus it gets the message out to fans. Carragher is just behind the times. I'll give him two years before he says... we never did that in my day.
