I think that he will challenge for the RB spot next season and I think he will start as our first choice RB. Just as Kyle Walker did for spurs, James Tavernier has been out on loan and they have been raving about him.

I know Walker was on loan in the Premier League but from what I have seen of Tavernier, he seems to have all the athletic abilities to charge up and down the wing, and from the article above his crossing is improving. Also, I remember Beardsley saying that he needs to cut out certain defensive mistakes but that is because he is raw with little experience. If we feel we can get by without him this season, then we should loan him to Carlisle for the remainder of the season. If not, then we should bring him back as cover for RB and CB.

Future prospect just like Vuckic, Abeid etc :D

I think he is a very similar prospect to Walker, exciting full backs who need to learn how to defend.

I have always liked him since we've seen him. A loan is a good move though I think he could play higher. Like Walker did, he needs to bulk up this year and get stronger. I think he looks a good option. More of a natural footballer than Simpson I'd say.

I think he has the same problem a lot of Full-backs have. They are noticed for attacking play, but actually can't defend and so are better off as wingers.

I think we should loan him out this season, as Raylor can cover RB, and Fergie go to LB.

He's not ready for PL football this season, he was constantly being caught out against Leeds.

Could turn into a decent player though, he's still young.

Very tricksy, has pace and looks good on the attack, the same could be said of LuaLua though. I'd love to see him bulk up and challenge for the RB slot but I see him as RW cover until he learns how to defend.

Said when he went that Carlisle was a good loan move. Invaluable experience. He could have gone to a team in a higher league than Gateshead last season. This will do him the world of good.

I would also like to see him remain at Carlisle this season.

Excellent. Season long loan at Carlisle sounds a good idea to me. Then we can take a look at him again and hopefully we will have a long term challenger for Simmo.

I think you can't judge him on that game as he was playing left back and he doesn't play there. I think that's what Pardew found out in that game.

I'd trust him at championship level to be honest, looks a fine player. Judging him as a young player, he's played well overall. League cup he looked fine. Just like to see a little more muscle on him to compete with the PL. I think he's gonna be excellent for Carlisle.
