Would make a good number 2 for sure is similar age too henderson when he came although then we had two senior keepers, has only made 1 league app for the daggers but keepers in general dont break into first teams at 22 would be able to play for under 21s and reserves would suggest if we sign this boy, we should then go for an older statesman with a good year or two left who this lad could one day then surpass.
Bear in mind we also have a good 18 year old keeper who we brought over last summer from the states

 

he would be an ideal number two

bring him in we want another signing

 

Personally think if we got him in he would be our number 1

 

Somehow I doubt that shiny If we are going to have a young squad I think he will want a keeper who is experienced to help the others along Not as experienced as David James but someone who has been through the mill so to speak.

 

I see what you're saying Hawk but Shea is on the fringe of the Arsenal first team. Ive seen him on the bench for the first team quite a lot. A few times in the champions league as well. I don't think he would come to Bristol city in league 1 to be back up. Gary woods is 22, All right we weren't never in for him but fans didn't mind the age then. This lad has been on the fringe of the Arsenal team and at 22 if he isn't going to be playing for Arsenal he will want to get first team football elsewhere. Don't see why he wouldn't be brought in as a number 1...

 

I just have this feeling that we are going to lose all of our better/experienced players with the possible exception of Carey and we will need some experience to help us this season.
