This is just cobbled together from a few bits of information doing the rounds in the last few days with the "Briatore wants to bring in an Italian manager" crap that has ongoing since he made his illjudged comments months and months ago. Can you really see Briatore bringing in a "big name Italian manager" now? Bring in a new manager ... then sell the club. Which manager would want to sign a contract knowing that he won't be able to bring his own players in? Which manager would want to sign a contract knowing that there will be new owners in a few weeks? The current squad (plus a couple of extras) has a chance at staying up with Warnock at the helm. Any other manager will have problems (playing their own formation with Warnock's players, Adel Taarabt, etc) and there would be a very good chance of relegation.
