Sunderland are ready to swoop for free agent James McFadden. The Mirror says McFadden is training with Wolves after his contract with relegated Birmingham expired.Cash-strapped Blues cannot meet McFadden’s personal terms to re-sign after he recovered from a knee that sidelined him for almost all of last season. The 28-year-old is keen to stay in the Midlands with his young family and hopes to switch to top-flight Wolves. But Black Cats boss Steve Bruce is a fan, and McFadden could yet move north.

Get him in I say !<ok>

No thanks, too injury prone and we've had enough of them. Good player when fit mind

I have seen him play well, but is he really what we need....probably not at this point.

I agree, we have enough in the team to get us to January. Save the wages for good striker without the injury baggage. If he was to come though and did stay fit could prove to be a decent buy so I would certainly give him a chance if he came.
