Is off to west brom for £1.5m. Are they mad?

They are better off giving the money to charity, would help the club more than that idiot could.

I thought he'd found his level with Wigan come next season.

I watched the Irish game on Saturday, over in Sligo for the weekend.

He worked hard enough when he came on but just didn't impress. Neither did Fletch. JoS scored his usual own goal.

Not an awful squad player who offers something a bit different. I wouldn't really want him here but he's a low risk, low reward kind of signing for them.

I just don't think he's a PL level player Di5co. To be fair apart from seeing him at the weekend, I haven't seen too much of him but I just recall him being pretty 1 dimensional.

I agree mate and I very much doubt they'll play him much but he can plug a gap where required for a game of two.

Tony Pulis obviously sees a role for him at WBA, and he is a pretty good judge of players so it will be interesting to see how they both fare through next season.

Yeh, I can see that. And he's a fit bugger, and I thought he looked a lot stronger than I recalled when he was with us.

Personally, he has a terrible attitude, and watching him the other day he still seemed as predictable as ever.

    Let him be WBA's headache

Looking on the Wigan boards there seems to be a running theme, a theme that ran while he was here. Hard worker but a **** Player.

He's a better player now than he was when he left us - possibly because of his age. Still doubt he'd be a success at PL level though

He always looked bone idle to me.
Remember that strike against Wigan though?

One of the best (along with Carlos Edwards) I've seen short of Cantona chipping Lionel!!

It was still rising when it hit the net. Outstanding goal. He's scored some crackers since he left too.
