We have been linked with Hull defender James Chester which was pretty inevitable. It isn't the first time we have been linked with him

His contract runs out in 12 months so we should start the bidding at £1M IMO. Thats all a Championship player with a year left is worth, maybe increase to about £1.25M but with us being Premier League he won't want to stick around with Hull

seriously ...£1m for a a young defender with Prem experience who is fixture in the current Welsh team that tops a group that includes Belgium .. we'd be laughed at and rightly so ... given his length of contract, reported bids for Trippier etc I suspect £2.75 as a first approach with a fee of between £3 and £5 million to close a deal ...

It really depends on how long he has on his contract ... with 12 months he can walk at the end for nothing ... hence from a business perspective buying clubs will start initial bids low (citing that as a reason- but not ridiculously) ... if I was Hull manager I'd ask him to sign a one year extension ... and then sell him in January for much more (if he really wants to leave the club) ... I'd also add that if it turns into an 'auction' then the final price is far more likely to reflect his real value irrespective of his current contract ...

It may still take a few pound notes to get him out of Hull, unless he hands in a transfer request.

I guess its upto Bruce whether he thinks they could come straight back up, if he twists and they dont come back up, Chester will be walking for free next year, if he thinks he could reinvest elsewhere, he'll prob get £3-4m if a bidding war starts.

An ironic jest at your arrogance when you bid £1m for Kasper.

He only had a year left on his contract, and couldn't wait to join the great Hull, who were in the Premier League you know!?

The Daily Mail have linked one of our players with a different club every day this week.

I suspect we'll laugh off any bid below £6m.

Well if Matt Mills is worth £4.5m....

Hold, we have Nige now, not Sven. Let's start the bidding at 0.35m and get serious about bid #7.
