It has been rumoured that Jamel is staying in a hotel in Chilworth while his work permit is being sorted out. If this is the case would he be allowed to train with the squad already therefore being able to slot straight into the team for the Leeds game? Has anybody been to staplewood recently?
IF he signs before the weekend I think he'd be more likely to get a run out against Torquay. I doubt he'd be pitched straight in for Leeds.
Doubt it mate, he's been called up for Tunisia's match against Mali which is taking place on Wednesday 10th
I was just about to say that about the Tunisia match. One would have thought he would be joining their team over the week end. Always assuming he is actually joining us. Strange you should be saying he was staying at Chilworth as someone matching his description was staying at my club at Botley. My mate bumped in to him in the gym and later in the pool. I saw Jason Dodd there around the same time. That was last week though, Thursday or Friday. I am wondering if that is where the Leeds guys will be staying as a lot of teams do. They tend not to let the guys train at stapleford these days until they're signed as that is a dead giveaway.
What do you make of this? http://translate.google.co.uk/trans...X&tbo=1&biw=1680&bih=933&tbs=qdr:d&prmd=ivnso
He is training with the squad, has been for over a week now. Nothing to stop him doing that, he's not technically "working". I think during Rudi Skacel's prolonged transfer from Hearts, he was secretly training with Saints for 2 weeks whilst still technically a Hearts player. He just told Hearts he was on holiday.
Don't think that's the case, its just the usual civil service being slow processing the work permit. As soon as they have the paperwork, they'll announce it.
Yeah, if I remember correctly it took ages with Jaidi. There shouldn't be any trouble at all with the work permit due to the number of times he's played for his country recently.
So does he look good in training then CBK...?? Ready to start against Leeds if the signing goes through in time...??
He hasn't trained with the lads at all. If he had he might have picked up the tonsillitis that's doing the rounds. Probably to much kissing on goal celebrations, but on a serious note hope everyone is fit for Saturday.
"Sucked in to the light" eh, sounds like we've got the tractor beam pulling him from a black hole into the warm sunshine of south coast safety aboard USS St Marys with Captain Adkins. Will the engines take it?
