Bit of a different one this time:

A day in the life of Jake Humphrey

If you like your blogs to be about yaw angles and the pro's and con's of various brake pads this isn't for you <laugh>
It's just a quick run down of whats going on behind the scenes of each BBC F1 production, which as a added twist is about 8 hours behind the rest of the city. Its something a little different <ok>

Also has a potential sly dig at the TV rights

Didn't realise jake had to put a lot of work in. I always assumed he just rocked up, read off an autocue, and interviewed people, but it sounds like a pretty tough job. You can be assured that sky will skip over the analysis steps, where they checked to see if jakes ideas are worthy of airtime. Knowing sky, they'll just broadcast any old rubbish.

Talking about sky, i've read rumours that their planned commentary team will be crofty and brundle.
