It's always easy to say we should just put someone young against the old defender and run at them. Actually getting into those situations is the difficult part. In both of the games against Jagielka's teams, we've played poorly as a team, clearly lacked confidence and created very little. Whoever you put up front, they need to get the ball in decent positions in order to be running at anyone and that requires a team performance.
You not think the old guard doesn't know how to manage a game? Experience is what it is. Deano had no pace but saw things before they happened. That's what this team lacks.
