he must be worried that our youngster would take his place, should he choose to play for them - http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...gn=1490&utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=twitter
Get a ****ing grip FFS! He's played well in his first full debut, big deal. Wilshere is just saying people that are born in England should play for England, which I 100% agree with. Stop being so ****ing Welsh
Hargreaves is Barnes isn't. Jamaican family, he was born there. I didn't realise we had so many players in the under 21's born outside of England.
I agree. I don't want him anywhere near the England set up. For his own good. I'd perhaps think different if he had an English parent but he hasn't. If he did part of me still wouldn't want him in an England shirt just to get vilified by other premiership team supporters when and if he has a **** game in a. England shirt. Which would be inevitable.
Probably keeping his options open. He would struggle to get in to the Belgium team for at least the next couple of years.
also disagree that you should be born in the country to play for it. I think you are entitled if you have lived in a country for the majority of your life and also if your Mum/Dad are from there as some people follow their parent's country through influence.
Here's a good story from Berahino http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/fo...-happy-ending-with-West-Brom-and-England.html Berahino has played all the way through England age groups up to the under-21s. For all the emotional pull of Burundi, Berahino never considered representing his homeland. “It’s a non-starter. I want to play at the best level with the best players at the best tournaments. Burundi is motherland to me. I will always be a Burundian regardless of what happens, even if I become a successful Premier League player. I will still have the Burundi culture in me. Playing for England is totally different. They have given me a second chance in life, provided my family with a different type of lifestyle. I feel very, very grateful to what England have done for me and my family. So, when I play for England, I play with passion and excitement, joy and desire to win.’’
Fair play to the lad, if you have a strong allegiance with this country and have the passion then we should welcome with open arms.
Still struggling to find where he (Jack) mentioned Januzaj in specific. His statement includes your boy yes, but he's not exactly singling him out.
