Exile I watched grown men try not to show they were wipeing their eyes as they were coming out of the cinema. Just shows how much this fantastic club means to all of us and sometimes people make comments that others don't like, but that is just their passion showing through. Going to go and watch it again now.

Quite right LTF. Watched this on demand a month back. Even the wife enjoyed it and she doesn't really have any interest in football, at the end of the day, it's a great story and the filmakers have done a great job.

Agree Norfolk. I took my wife along to the cinema and she really enjoyed it.

I've also got the DVD and have watched it a couple of times again - in fact, you actually see things and people that you may have missed the first time. <cheers>

Enjoyed it to an extent but to have airbrushed Tate, Jackett and Sousa from the story was disrespectful and as a result only told part of the story.

Just watched it again. Cracking viewing. Fourth time I've watched it and it seems to get better each time.

Yeah, fair point this. I had to explain to the wife about Sousa's era. Was a bit weird how the story just "jumped" a year.

It's a bit like watching the playoff final - I still have the jitters seeing their come back and half expect the result to change! Same with Jack to King - it still gives me the willies that we might not get the points against Hull.

its a great story and yes stuff has been left out and I guess thats called artistic license. It would have been good to see Jackett get some recognition and even Sousas reign could have got a mention but what could they have shown - some really solid defending!

If they had edited Mad Lizzy from the film then they could have plenty of time to leave no gaps in the managerial timeline imo . other than that pretty good .
