Very happy with this, think he is decent quality and an upgrade on luongo!!
Three year deal, cost just under 1.5 million apparently, decent bit of business imo!

If he's an upgrade on Luongo I'm all in. Sounds like a good signing and needed in that area. Morsy and Luongo were imperious at the end of last season and think we will need every bit of their experience next. We've got decent back up in that area but none really fitted into and looked as balanced as Luongo and Morsy together, this hopefully gives competition to those places rather than having certain starters. And unlike Morsy looks like he's got a great shot on him. He might also be able to play in the 10 role

Wasn’t that bothered about signing him, but now he’s here I’ll obviously give him (and the recruitment team) my full support.

didn’t think he was that much better than what we have but hopefully he proves that he is.
He is a good age, with good experience and proven to be robust, given how many matches he’s played year on year.

As a side thought, we might see a 433 being utilised at some point given the numbers/strength/types of players we have in the CM group

Considering how well they did at the back end of the season, I was all for giving Morsy and Luongo 1st go in the championship but that looks unlikely know as you don’t spend £1.5m on a player for him to sit on the bench. Think with the 3 of them as well as Camara and perhaps Evans being kept, think Dom Ball will be on his way with Humphreys going out on loan to a league one side and El Mouzini probably being sold
