Has anybody heard anything on the hobbs front? The BBC Leicester fella has put on his twitter he believes he's signing for us on Monday. Excellent piece of business for me. As well as chester and gerrard are playing a bit of strength in depth would be more than welcome
BBC Leicester are reporting that he's coming to us, however their 2 centre halves have just injured each other, one with a neck problem and the other with a golf ball sized lump on his eye. Both challenged for the same ball.. So might not happen so soon. But yeah they sound pretty confident he's coming to us.
Well from Pearson's interview after the game it sounded pretty obvious they were after him and another defender/midfielder by the sounds of it. And regards the collision their cb's have just had, well hopefully they recover. They do have Bruma and that Moreno guy who can play there as well though. We shall see, he said we should know on Monday.
They also mentioned on Humberside that Gary Megson had said in Sheff Wed's post match interview that he expected Hobbs to sign for City on monday.
Ayala just came on for derby. BBC Leicester now having a phone in session about Hobbs coming to us, they sound very confident it's happening, NP sounded like it was happening too in his post match interview.

Some interesting bits then. I didn't hear pearsons interview, did he mention when we may see a midfielder? Regarding hobbs I'm guessing if they went up we'd have a decent chance of getting him permanent.
Right one more update, quote from Sven when asked about Hobbs coming to us on Monday: "I don't know the exact date, but Jack has told me he wants to sign for Hull City, so it's now down to the 2 clubs to arrange a deal, and hopefully he can help them beat some of our rivals". Sounds a definite!
Great signing if comes true, he has great versatility and he certainly has ability as he showed it last year and Leiceter fans laughed there heads off when we said we wanted him last year! Obviously NP has good relations with all players not heard one of his old players say a bad word about him!
Jack Hobbs and, if the rumours are true, Jonathan Greening from Fulham. Two decent additions to the squad should they come off..me thinks.
I think it's speaking volumes about the management teams when Hobbs clearly so keen to rejoin them. Delighted if we do get Hobbs.
Leicester are mad for letting him and Fryatt leave. They ha a perfectly good play-off side with a few more signings they would have been promoted and they wouldn't have had to bring in a single has-been.
Can't blame him though when we have 3/4 defenders ahead of him at the moment. He's been really shabby this year so maybe getting a few games at a quite decent team will be ok.
Not sure where he will fit in though? I wouldn't want to break up our back 4 at the moment as the defence is looking superb.
Erm... We're only three points behind you and have a better goal difference? We've also only lost once in the last 16 games... Just out of interest - if we're not a rival, what would you consider one?
