If anyone is interested I've started a thread on the Port Vale forum asking for updates on Jack Grimmer already a few good replays www.onevalefan.co.uk/forum/
Cookie, nice post mate. Just read the feedback. All really great, well done Jack. Do the forum members know of Not606? Maybe let them know. I would but can't be bothered to register on the PV forum!

Jack's (and obviously Port Vale's) game against Crawley Town scheduled for tonight, has been postponed because of a water logged pitch.
"PORT Vale have extended the loan of Fulham defender Jack Grimmer until the end of the season. The 20-year-old's initial month's loan was due to expire after this afternoon's home game with Swindon. Port Vale were keen to get an extended deal because the Premier League youngster has been hugely impressive in his four games for the Valiants so far, playing both at right back and in central defence. Grimmer had also made clear he wanted to stay at Vale Park until the end of the campaign. Vale manager Micky Adams said: "It is great news for the club and for the player too as he will continue to get first team games under his belt." Played at centre back last night: "Port Vale moved to within six points of the Sky Bet League One Play-Off Places on Tuesday night with a 2-0 win over Colchester United. Jack Grimmer – who occupied a centre-back role for the game - played the full 90 minutes of the clash at Vale Park as a Doug Loft goal in either half secured the victory for Micky Adams’ side. Vale are back in action on Saturday when they travel to second-bottom Shrewsbury Town."
Fulham have recalled young defender Jack Grimmer from his loan spell at Sky Bet League One outfit Port Vale. The Whites exercised a clause in the loan agreement between the two clubs. Grimmer joined Vale in January and went on to make 14 appearances, scoring once. Vale boss Micky Adams said: “Jack has been a pleasure to work with and I’m sure if he continues to learn he will have a big future in the game and we wish him all the best on his return to Fulham.” Source: http://www.fulhamfc.com/news/2014/march/27/jack-back-in-sw6 Don't know whether it's right fullback or centre back that's worrying Felix most. My guess is that he feels he needs to pull Heitinga back into central defence and that he wants a more solid defensive fullback than Riether.
I've just realised this morning that yesterday was the loan transfer deadline until the end of the season. If that deadline applies to recalling players from loan as well, it could be that Grimmer's return is a precaution for the run in rather than a sign that he's going to feature against Everton. Either way, it suggests that he's close to making the matchday squad, even if he might not be as close as we first thought.
Given Amorebieta's suspension, he could just be cover. Burn could slot in next to Hangeland, or Riether could return. But either way, we are left without cover either at CB or RB. Grimmer covers both positions for us.
