    On NewsNow Southampton it says No bid made for Chambo and the source is from talksport saying Adkins this, also from talksport on newsnow it says Saints winning Jack Cork race. Possibility that Adkins has told Talksport something?

    Nah, there was a Saints press conference earlier where Nige said we're currently the only club with an accepted offer for Cork.

    Wont believe it until its on the OS. A lot of stuff has to happen between having an offer accepted and a player signing.

    I wonder what the issue is over sign-off on Cork. Chelsea has accepted the bid, am wondering if Cork might be waiting for Burnley to put in a bid... really would like him to sign; offers options in midfield and central defender. His experience in the Championship last season and what he has learnt from being in the Under 21's means he has some good experience.

    It might just be taking a while to sort out personal terms, or perhaps Adkins and /or Cortese want to actually meet the lad before making such a significant investment in him?
