Not really. Not very many have come over recently from 606. It's busier on general chat than on here, but the English boards are busy with football talk.
gotta say i much prefer ja606. the layout is the exact same as the old 606 with no 3 minute rule and open 24 hours (when it's working)
The JA606 froum was "attacked" and brought down. A "DDOS attack". The police are investigating apparently. It's a shame this happened because I wanted to see which was the better: not606 or JA606. Both seem really quiet anyway.
It's funny because this place was actually founded by Old Firms, and we had dozens on at any one time in it's heyday. A lot of them seem to hover around General Chat these days.
I've said it before and I'll say it again. We need an Old Firm board. At the moment we have Celtic fans posting on the Celtic board and Rangers fans posting on the Rangers board with little crossover. 99% of the banter on 606 came from Celtic and Rangers fans mingling on threads. The best example was the old Fan's Forum which was pre-606 when there were Celtic, Rangers AND a separate OF board. That way if you were only interested in talking to Celtic fans (or Rangers ditto) you stuck to your team's board. If you wanted banter with your rivals you used the OF board.
on ja606 you just click on football down the side (same as bbc606) click on teams then it brings up all teams. i was just clicking on spl then you can read and post on all spl threads. honestly much better and user friendly than this site and as soon as it's been repaired i'll be back over
ja606 still off what a shame, not606 seems to be the only alternative, i've tried others 12yards.co.uk got some action and http://sportsandmates.com is just appalling
