Finished Cheltenham up just over £500 up, for a change. Then on Thursday got an email saying I've won this on a Aspire raffle. Lambretta gp rs225: One off Custom lambretta that was owned and built by rs tuning (only 2 owners from new). The scooter was built by ralph saxon, fully tuned 225 motor, custom exhaust, custom wheels, custom seat custom frame modifications…. Basically everything about this Striking scooter is custom! Not to mention the glittery unmarked green and purple paint job! Its hard to believe by looking at the paint it was done some 18 years ago ! unmarked un chipped, loads of lacquer its a pretty special scooter. The scooter has covered around 300 miles from new then has been parked up and dry stored since being decommissioned by the top team at PM Tuning. Spare wheel on rear rack. Side panel locks. Front glove box. The cool thing about this scooter is it remains unseen by most of the scooter scene… ( never been in any shows ) so would be perfect for some one who is in to the custom scooter show scene, or someone who just wants an incredibly rapid lambretta !!!
Well done Nigsy! That is definitely some road bling! As Uber says, you’d best buy a lottery ticket asap
sb, don't know what I'm going to do yet, keep it or sell it. It gets delivered tomorrow, and a bloke who lives in the same road as me, who has old lammy's will check it out. He has given me a rough idea what he thinks it's worth, but when I get the scooter and the paper work that may change. I have been offered £6,000 for it by a mate, but I'll be honest with you I don't know if that was the beer talking. Feel free to ask anyone if they are interested should I sell. I will let you know what I will be doing.
With your current run of luck (congrats btw) please could you lump your £500 winnings on us winning the playoffs please?
From what I’ve been reading this week, take the £6k and buy a couple of whiskey barrels for 20 years.
As I understand it, these things are highly collectable. I wouldn't rush into accepting an off without proper research if I were you.
This is a similar Lambretta that has been restored without bling. If you click on the 'next' tab there's others for comparison. I'd guess £5k would be a starting price or auction reserve based on what I've seen online. If there's interest you could go a lot higher. Advertise on a specialist magazine or website to gauge interest... https://motorcycles-for-sale.biz/sale.php?id=47791
