Probably a stupid question, but I'm guessing he'll be suspended from PL matches after his sending-off today? I have him in Fantasy team you see...

    3 games
We'll also be buying a right back so he won't be playing as much there.

Ivan is a pretty good rb but he himself doesn't really like to play there. I think he'll become 2nd choice if we get a decent rb in. If that happens he'll likely be 4th choice cb/2nd choice rb. With 60 games this season he'll still play plenty though. In the Prem? Not so much imo and assuming we get the rb in.

On a more serious note, that still did not warrant a red card in my view. I reckon its worth an appeal!

I thought it was a red personally, I'm not going to come on here calling him a disgrace or any Chelsea fan who doesn't think it was a red card blind. By doing so I would only be on the wum, but I'm not CPofL and to be frank it was a debatable decision and everyone has their own opinion. It was one of those challenges that is always going to be debated about whether it was yellow or red. Obviously you guys won't like the decision because it means you are a man down for 3 games at the start of the season.

I don't think it was a malicious attempt to break his leg and you see tackles like that week in week out, But if the ref is going to follow the letter of the law then I guess it was a valid red

No point commenting with regards to a suspension ......it looks like it's not happening.

Why, because I said he will miss 3 games before it was confirmed that he wouldn't?...

In that case... spectacular fail. <ok>

Bit of an exageration . He wasn't flying in, he was sliding in, one leg on the ground, one slightly raised. Dumb certainly, sloppy definately, "flying in twofooted with studs showing" bollocks.

He's not serving a suspension now, and for me that's all that really matters! As an added bonus JT's 3 match Eufa ban has been reduced to 2! Happy days! Common sense has taken over!
