Just seen that Ivanovic has escaped being retrospectively sent off after grabbing McCarthy round the neck and moving his head towards McCarthy's. Talk about one rule for the big clubs and one for the rest. Our appeal against Howson's dismissal was overruled!!!! <doh>

The same as Van Persie and his elbow into the face of Tomkins at the weekend. <ok>

Jose has started his everyone hates us routine again and it works, by sulking when decisions don't go his way and defending his players every time the dive or foul someone it puts refs under huge pressure not to piss him off.
Ferguson was the same and seems to be very effective .

I genuinely can't stand Jose. No doubt he is a good manager (Though I imagine it can't be that hard when you usually have millions to throw at players), he just comes across so petulant and never answers the hard questions. He was asked if he would discipline any of his players if he found they had done wrong during the brawl vs Everton and he just walked off. It's just childish. "I'll only answer the question that put me in a good light". You'd get straighter answers from Kim Jong Un!

I think you're being a bit hard on him Colk, the incident was very new, nobody could possibly have seen everything that happened in real time, so it had to be watched several times to find out what actually happened! To ask him to make a statement about it without the chance to review it was out of order. No surprise there with dirty journalist tactics!

The question was "If it turned out one of your players was involved, would you discipline him?" The same question was asked to Martinez and he didn't storm off! I only mentioned this one because it's recent. I was exaggerating for affect with the Mighty Leader comparison.... but then again when you call yourself the "Special One" you can't be too surprised with the comparison! :p

He started the "special one" a few years ago as a tongue in cheek self micky take, he doesn't believe it, but an awful lot of his fans do!

I have to say that for me Jose brings something to the party and represents real value in his interviews (particularly when he doesn't storm off!)
He is much more interesting than Pellegrini, Wenger, Rodgers and the others and let's face it, without him, the title would be at the Etihad pretty much nailed on, probably for as long as the oil keeps flowing irrespective of the price per barrel.
