Apparently flying over in the next 48hours

From people who have seen a canny bit of him rekon he is solid as a rock defensively, good going forward, can knock a good cross in from deep and chips in with the odd goal.

This is from the SMB mind so we will just have to see but it sounds as though this lad is a good player.

MoN has spoken about the possibility of a right back joining as well, I hope there better than Bardsley, that bloke from Olympiacos was linked earlier in the window but we will have to wait and see if it is him or not

Yep its has been mentioned down here on local radio that Strinic was flying over to speak to Sunderland in the next day or so. A good solid no nonsence left back apparantly

he is an experienced defender but MoN has spoken about another right back arriving and I hope they are better than Bardo

we want to keep improving and if a better right back comes rather than someone as back up then surely that is better for the club?

 

Can't believe that any true Sunderland fan can complain about Bardsley!!Bramble,maybe,but Bardsley, no way!!!

I think Bardo has improved immensely. He has gotten better going forward, and has even added goals to his game. He isnt called McBardinho for nothing!

 

I'm with you on this one Poolie, regardless of how good a player is, you have to look for better, if not your on the slippery downward slope.

 

Heard good things about this lad and as we need a LB get him in. Bardsley can return to his more natural RB position which will give us the much needed balance at the back we have lacked. Not sure anyone is complaining about Bardsley they would just rather have him on the right.

 

100% spot on hairy. Bardsley for me is immense. Ask the other defenders and midfield players who they feel safe playing alongside?

Bardsley would be my captain too if Cattermole was out.

 

The lad strinic was excellent in the euro's during the summer. Was definitely a standout player for me.

He will do a great job for us if we sign him

 

I can,t believe anyone saying we need a better right back then Bardsley that is one of our strongest positions i can understand we need a better CM than Catts and yes its good we are looking for better players in every position but i wouldn,t say RB is one of them
