    Nicked of RTG.

Apparently Graeme Anderson dropped a tit bit about us in for an eastern European left back and then tried to say he was mistaken (maybe got a bollocking from the club for revealing it) and then this story has emerged in a Croatian website.

Premierligaša Sunderland sent a written offer to purchase contract Dnipro John Strinić! In a fax that arrived in the Dnipro prominent is the price, unofficially, moving between 6-7000000 euros. English club leaders are more games this time accompanied brzonogog inhabitant, and after they see him in action with the strongest opponents of the euro, have formalized their interest.

As we learn from sources close to the Ukrainian club has not yet decided whether to let the Croatian national team. Coach Juande Ramos is not just for that option, but the club weigh financial weight transfer.

Strinić came from Hajduk Split for four million euros and the possibility that they are now transferred to England for 7-8 million tickled the leadership of the club. Although a solid game, it is obvious that at the club, which does not finance with a problem (on the contrary), they believe they can find a suitable replacement.

Certainly it would Dnipro on concrete interest Englishmen answer seeking more money and if you raise the Sunderland first offer, and Ukrainians reduce maximum demands compromise "deal" is very realistic. Strinić has not yet officially declared, but off the record, expressed his delight possibility to try his hand in the current world's most powerful club competition.

Never heard if him but he is a 25 uear old Croatian, 6ft 1 and currently playing for Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk.

anyone remember him from the Euro's

I cannot remember many of there players individually bar the 1s that are well known likes of Corluka, Rakitic, Srna, Mandzukic and Modric but I remember them being good as a team, no weakness.

they do well over here as well so hopefully thats the same with this lad

Is he an attacking left back or Ivanovic type wer they aint the best going forward but really solid defensively

back to the main topic of the lad and from what I have read about him I want us to sign him...

    Very kind marra.

I was covering Ireland's group for a website in the Euros and Strinic definitely looked very decent. Struggled a little at times against Ireland, but really stepped it up after that. Had some consistent delivery into the box too from deeper positions, which is something that Fletcher (hopefully) would really thrive on.

    and....

From the 3 games I've seen, he's a pacey and technical player, great delivery. Sort of a low rent Ashley Cole.

    3 games like.

    get him in Marty

Watched him in a couple of the Euro games and seemed fairly solid decent going forward as well could well be onto something with this one. By the way what is a left back? Can't remember the last time we had one could be down to the drink mind.
