I swear that when I was but a nipper Big Ron was summing up at half-time and referred to one teams unpredictable player who could pop up somewhere on the pitch as "their ****** in the woodpile " ; it seems so bizarre that sometimes I think I must have imagined it.but Im convinced it happened.

Eh nev the draw starts at 4.40pm......but with all the ****e at the start the teams will probably start getting drawn out at about 5 this evening

Last year it was in the evening as well. I remember sitting on the phone to my mate on my way home. He took the day off work for it and gave me a running commentary (better than the ****s on ITV would do)

 

that is bent, i was looking forward to a whole day talking about this at work and not doing anything, now i'll just be not doing anything

i couldnt even watch itv during the world cup because their commentators were ****ing ******s. although the bbc did have mick maccarthy who's voice makes me want to kill myself.

 

mind ITV had 1 commentator for a game in the WC cos someone had the sniffles FIND SOMEONE ELSE THEN!!!

 

i know for **** sake i was forced to listen to the informed comments of the likes of robbie savage so i'm sure they could've found someone. every man and his dog in tv is at these things

 

Well I have a team meeting in half an hour which should be interesting, after the redundancy email. What really gets me is the company keeps sending emails out saying how well we're doing.....then hit us with redundancies.

have you done a mental inventory of what you can steal yet?

 

I'm stealing lots of stationary next week for my college starting. Looking at perhaps a new computer sitting at the desk beside me. Not plugged in or anything......might snatch that. Going to take hundreds of big folders and blank cd's and dvd's. Can order blank blu-ray discs as well so might do that.

I have hundreds of archived drawings in my drawers that we need to keep for 25 years. Will take them and burn them

 

we're moving in the next couple of wks so i reckon in the confusion some stuff wont be missed for awhile, there's a couple of blackberries i can probably half inch as well as some tools in the workshop i'll be having, that and of course the traditional box of stationary
