Just been at the scooter rally at Priory pub all afternoon. Got me and my mate thinking about our funeral!! Hopefully ala John Entwhistle- but Town Called Malice is definetly one of my 3 allotted tunes. Along with Sail Away Roger Daltrey and Enjoy yourself by The Specials.
My mates where Going Underground, That'll Be The Day and Burning Love, sarcastic bastard that he is. Any choices? Apologies for spellings etc but pissed

Enough already! I was at a funeral down here on Thursday and now have to travel up to Hull for another, next week....
 
I dunno how old you are Elrooj but im getting to an age where i quite like going to them. Its the only time some of my old mates come out!!
 
I don't want a funeral. It would only be gathering of people I don't really like anyway.

Have you seen how expensive coffins and gravestones are? I wouldn't want the financial burden on my family. Just bury me in a cardboard box under a tree.

i think leo sayer also had an album out by the same name later.
 
I'd like to have the same send-off that Osama bin Laden did, without the preliminaries. They could use a North Sea Ferry for it, plenty of room there to have a nice cheap bash too!
 
Not being a morbid soandso I've never given much thought to any songs my loved ones will listen to as I get dropped into a muddy hole or conveyed into a furnace! Always been a Johny Cash fan but ring of fire seems a bit harsh although my daughter would see the funny side. Thought about JC's version of the 9 inch nails song and Love the original 'enjoy yourself'. However for me at to moment I think Ill decide in another thirty or forty years
