Why is it that Wycombe Wanderers keep having such an influence on the destiny of Bristol Rovers?
    Can lightening strike twice?
Wycombe have two games left. Against Accrington at home and Oxford away. Should they be able to repeat either of the earlier results against these two clubs, they would enable Rovers the opportunity to slide into the automatic promotion positions. Wycombe beat Oxford at home and drew with Accers away.
A draw in either case would allow us the opportunity to win our two games and achieve the ultimate goal.
Oxford against Wycombe is their local derby, so let's hope Oxford's nerves are still jangling and Wycombe do us one big favour. They owe us one.
Of course Plymouth and Portsmouth have been badly bitten by our next two opponents , so DC and the team must keep their wits about them to the end of the season.
    Nothing is a given!

Yes, it is all getting extremely exciting now, I feel for the cobblers fans to some extent, how boring it must be to be up already, they're missing out on all of this ! Anyway lets all hope that it goes to the very last game so that the Daggers match doesn't end up being a dead rubber.

Pressure is really on both Accrington and Oxford. Wycombe now have nothing to play for so they could just put out players who they want to have a final look at to decide their futures. Or they could take it seriously knowing they basically have a massive say on who goes up. They got history with us so may want us to stay down. They may find more delight stopping Oxford going up seeing it is a bit of a derby game. I just hope they give it their all. If they still lose then fair enough. But we wouldnt be in this position if we beat Wycombe ourselves!

I just hope we don't need a draw to go up against daggers in the last game, I am not sure my heart could stand another match like the Yeovil / Exeter one

I think Oxford are the most likely to drop points...

Which is exactly what Wycombe did Saturday, they fielded some 19 year old goal keeper. Who is not a first team goal keeper I believe?

I'm sure all the teams will want to finish the season on a high. Oxford lost to Wycombe in the reverse fixture, and it's almost a local derby. And Accrington only drew with Stevenage. At least we beat Daggers last time out...

He's on loan from Villa and got our MOTM.
Not sure about the previous poster claiming we want you to stay down as i don't mind who goes up on Saturday and who ends up in the play offs. I live in Wells so a lot of my mates are Gasheads so i would be pleased for them especially if they are splashing the cash to celebrate on Saturday night <cheers> Some of our younger fans claim Oxford are our rivals which is bollocks as they're not even in the same county but as our "Friends" from Colchester will be joining League 2 next season it will be more important we beat them than any other team. Anyway may the best teams take the automatics but don't worry if you end up in the play offs because with your current form you should win that.

If you are losing, can you do the rain dance and start some thunder and lightning please? <whistle>

I think its about time you do us a favour. We been relegated twice because of you. Then we got the lightning match. Then we got all the cheating with your players and agents breaking rules and should have got done for it ;)

I think you owe us :)

Wycombe let us down again. Thankfully Stevenage was there for us. Just goes to show, you can never trust Wycombe <whistle>
