I feel like I've just woken up from a coma. Post me something to show it really did happen and it's not just another false memory from alcohol abuse.
About that hundred quid you owe me dutch, call it 50 and were even. I keep getting that, in the mrs' words, stupid smile on my face. Mouth keeps curling up at the edges aah. There it is again.
I keep getting told that no one should be that happy on a monday morning at work haha May need to reel it in a bit and stop bouncing around the place
You're right! It wasn't City at all. It was Newport County who got promoted. The last of these three links is the best written: Newport-return-25-long-years--Michael-Walker.html One for Mussie (sorry it's not Sooty) Steve-Bruce-revels-Hulls-promotion-Premier-League-snub-Wolves.html
It's exactly how I'm feeling this morning, although I think I have literally just woken from a coma. I also can't believe I've actually got to go to work tomorrow and get all serious again. I'm of the opinion we should all be given an additional week's holiday to celebrate.
I keep having to remind myself, it still hasn't sunk in, maybe cos I'm in London but not sure it will sink in until our first game in the prem. I'm so proud right now and so happy for the Allams, SB and the players.
Cant blame been in london for that im in bournemouth and its sunk in finaly although that was at 6am today haha
From the Mail Online article: "Allam, who runs Hull City with son Ehab, will have more considerable investments to make. But with the Premier League TV money, plus other significant investors ready to back them, Bruce will be able to plan properly." Any idea if the 'other significant investors' is just made up by the Mail, speculation or based on some inside knowledge?
When I read he HDM this morning I really did feel proud, when you think of the situation the club was in when we came down again. Was watching one of the vids from the game, maybe on Sky Sports website or Tiger player and Mr Allam is stood surveying the crowd and saying "I did it for my people". Honestly think he believes he is King of Hull and I really don't say that in a nasty way. I was one of the people that had doubts I will admit that but seeing them celebrating like the rest of us and hearing that Ehab rushed straight to a TV to watch the Watford game etc has made me change my mind more than anything. What struck me as well on the footage was just how attactive the Allam women are, I know which one is Papa's wife but not sure about the other lady near Ehab, his wife or sister?
Wasnt Ehab born and raised in Hull? If so im sure him rushing to the tv was due to been a fan as much as owner!
I flew home yesterday. Landed at Girona airport and met some Leeds ****e who reckoned it was all down to them and that we would be straight back down. Told the fat bastard to shut the **** up and that they have no chance of even getting there. Made my day. UTT
I know that many had their doubts, I as you know have always supported the Allams. No smugness from me, I am just so pleased that the owners can now get bock some of the money that they ploughed in, not just for them but for the club. As we can as a business and club become attractive as an investment to others. This is a massive moment in the clubs history. We are now worth investing in.
Thankfully, no. Though I still don't know how he managed to be so wrong on that unless he was told to rubbish it.
Have to agree when mr Allam said my people. then straight after Brucey said how we the people of hull are having it tough, worst unemployment in the country, I got a bit misty eyed.
Colin Young knows his stuff as one of the best former City reporters ex of the HDM. So I would expect there to be truth behind it.
