No punishment.

Sir Les was in the Standard tonight saying he didn't know what all the fuss was about.

Saw a tweet from a West Ham fan saying 'why all the fuss about Leeds? Arsenal sent eleven people to watch West Ham train on Saturday'

<laugh>

What did they do wrong? Ok let me put it another way. What did they do that other clubs do not do? Can we punish those who whinge about such behaviour while indulging in blatant gamesmanship, cheating and sending scouts, managers and bona fide members of the intelligence services. That sort of time wasting surely deserves serious punishment.

Personally.....cannot see what the fuss is all about. I'm pretty sure that each and every club has "people" watching the opposition. And, if Leeds were really that good at this, surely they would have won every game they have played this season

Personally think it's a load of ****e. Did their spies have a day off when they lost to West Brom and other teams? I call it, attempting to do ones homework. Planning and preparation. Sometimes it will work and sometimes it won't.

Let's insist that no one watches our games (and Vs PNE that includes us the fans) and no one videos them or broadcasts them and no one reports on them ( who knows anything about the game, obviously...I am allowed to say the pink kit looks nice)...

Then no one can spy on us and it will all be okay

That's the way to do it!

Apparently 11 clubs signed a collective 'Spygate' letter to the EFL and naming the rest of the clubs who signed it. The clubs weren't joking when they asked for "full disclosure".
The 12 clubs who didn't sign the letter are QPR, West Brom, Sheff Utd, Sheff Wed, Rotherham, Birmingham, Aston Villa, Bolton, Stoke, Wigan, Reading and Ipswich. Leeds are obviously aware of its contents but haven't received a copy directly.

I hope our non signature shows that we think this is a fuss about nothing, or even better that we routinely spy on our opponents as well. If the latter, we need to do better spying.

I still think theres more to this individual spying at Derby.....i.e. wire cutters etc. The guy should be prosecuted for trespassing at least which would deter maybe.

I personally do not agree with any opponents watching the last sets of training drills etc.....if all are doing it no wonder there is some very negative nullifying formations and no imaginative free kicks anymore!!
