Fergie is right again, what is the point in travelling to London for the semi final. It is to me obvious that they should be played at Old Trafford for Man U and little Citeh and Analfield or Villa Park for Stoke and Bolton.
Before little Citeh kick off to much they could still have their 30,000 tickets like at wembley as despite OT being slightly smaller less corporates and neutrals would have tickets.
That would make the ground neutral in my opinion. Footballers should be able to play on any pitch.
This game if it happens again , the Fa have to listen to Sir Alex and move move the game to OT, unfortunately it is too late to do now.

Should be played at millenium stadium, all the fans that watched their teams there while Wembly was being built had nothing but praise for the city and stadium.

The welsh FA were stupid not to have some long term arrangement.

An important game would then be played at a world class neutral venue.

Surely the other way round? Stoke and Bolton should be at OT and Utd and City should be at a neutral venue? Hardly fair for City to have to come to our stadium for a match that should be at a neutral stadium. Although given that Anfield and Villa Park are both less than half the size of Wembley, so that would be a bit harsh for the 15,000 supporters from each club that will miss out.

Either way, it ain't gonna happen. The FA is too desparate to suck all the money they can out of fans to pay for the exercise in project mismanagement that is our new national stadium.
