Now I know things aren't going well and we are adrift at the bottom of the table. However it is only October going on November we still have a lot of games to play.

If we were this far adrift in the prem this early then i would say we were doomed, but this is the championship. We have seen it season after season how quick teams can climb the table. Im not saying we'll get top six but a little run and we could be mid table.

We do have a right to moan as the current state of play on and off the field at our club is terrible. But when the new manager comes in he'll believe we can get out if this mess, so why shouldn't we! In the last few seasons we've started off by being tonked by 5 or 6, at least that's only happened once this season...

<doh> It's all very well saying we only need two wins to come off the bottom, but where are two wins coming from, given that they have to be over and above any points the others pick up?

We have six games in November - we have two away games next and those six games include Palace and Leicester. So I don't think there's any chance we will be off the bottom before December.

Perhaps if we're not too far behind then December doesn't look too bad, but then our first games in the New Year are Cardiff and Brighton, and we have to remember that we cannot beat anybody
at the moment so even when the fixtures look to be on our side we're still way behind everyone else on the pitch.

If it were any other club in our position we would be saying they've gone already, just because it's the team we support doesn't mean these points will magically appear from somewhere.

Who knows, that is my point! Look at last season, we picked up 6 points from West Ham and 4 from Cardiff while we got 0 from Millwall. This season we managed a good draw against Blackburn and lost to Sheff Weds. Anybody can beat anyone! Also it's not uncommon for teams to go on a run when they get a new manager.

As for your comment that we would say we were doomed if it was any other club than our own, I disagree. I have talked about our position with many other football fans (dare I say it even some Norwich fans). While no-one is saying it's a good position to be in, it is not a foregone conclusion like some on this bored would have us believe. With a new manger in we may see a new lease of life from some of our players. There is no doubting that we have some quality championship players in our squad, the likes of Chops, DJ, Reo-Coker, Jet, Chambers and Martin all have the quality to be big players in the league. We also have good young players in Cressy, Hyme, Carson and Hewitt, I know Cressy hasn't been as good this season but a new manager may be able to get him playing again. We have not seen Hewitt yet, but all reports suggest that he is a talent.

I know our squad have been a pile of s**t recently, but a new manger could get them playing. Once we stop this terrible run we are on and with some confidence and belief, we do have a squad that could be a force in this league.

Just in case anyone misinterprets what I am saying here, I am NOT saying we are going to be near the play-offs, just that relegation is defiantly not a certain.

I agree that relegation is not a certainty. However, if we play like we did yesterday, not only will we be relegated this season, we will also go straight through league 1 & arrive in league 2 May 2014.
There are currently too many players at the club playing for their wages rather than playing for the team & the new manager will have to separate this players out very quickly to give the team the best chance of survival
