Come on Leicester and Hull, let's get things sorted, the wait is killing
me and I'm running down my phone battery searching for any info! Get it done and we can all move on, hopefully onwards and upwards :)

Hull are slowing down the move as much as they can but Nigel will be appointed as our new manager. Its unlikely to be announced today but it should go through tommorow or Friday at the latest

This is how impressed Nigel is with Hulls games

Its interesting , mr. Pearson has now walked out of his last two jobs while under contract...for whatever reason...Thats the facts...He sold Max Gradel for a song..costing this club millions..he has now left two young players who followed him to Hull high and dry (a penny for their thoughts), and left waghorn in limbo...Everybody assumes or blames Milan or Hoos for the fallouts..and his leaving in the first place..but how do WE know who was in the wrong? Stringer has more than hinted he is difficult to work with...so is it everybody else, but him? Just a few things for people to consider...I hope we have now settled on him as the "MAN" and give him a realistic time to get us where we need to be...people's perceived faults disappear with success...come on Nigel...do the business..

...no matter who came in , no one manager is perfect so as you say lets hope they give him time, I'm sure us fans will, well most, he's a decent honest bloke, who will jump ship if a bigger offer comes in no doubt, but glad he's coming back to give us a bit of back bone...

...will be interesting to hear what he has to say for himself, laying bet's on..a) he didn't want to leave, b) that he's back to finish the job he started c) that Leicester City fan support is tremendous ... all points I think we can agree on.. welcome back Nigel , Shaky and Walshy, now let's go on with winning this league....

Looks like things are stalling a bit on the Leicester front. They are unwilling to pay out £2 million in compensation to Hull. Looks like you may have to find another manager ???

Do we really want him back is the question now, what would the players think of him after he has deserted them in the way he has done,if he comes back I can foresee Nigel having green fingers for a while, has he got a garden?
From a personal point of view I hope you get him as I have lost all respect for him.

As yet, Nigel Pearson's move to Leicester City has not been ratified, but it is believed terms have been agreed between the current Tigers boss and the Foxes - the only sticking point now seems to be City owner Assem Allam playing hard ball on a compensation package due to the club for taking Pearson out of his contract in East Yorkshire.

Leicester are confident of wrapping up the deal later today or tomorrow, but it is thought the Allam Family will hold out for a £2m compensation pay off from the East Midlands club before any deal is formally struck. And should Pearson leave, the race for the new manager's position at the Circle will really step up.

    Pay up or shut up.

I don't want NP to stay anymore, but we're not going to let him go on the cheap.

If we cant agree compensation it will go to a tribunal who will decide.

I think it would work better for us if it did go to a tribunal

If its gonna go to a tribunal it could take weeks. However he still has 20 months left on his contract with Hull, and as we have said before money talks, it cant be that much of a hurdle to get your man?

We've already said what we want, £2 Million.

Obviously your owners don't want to pay it, otherwise you wouldn't still be waiting. Are you the Leicester board idiot?

Now, now...don't go mardy, its not my fault nigel wants out..personal abuse only reflects badly on you....take a kalm.. why 2 mill why not 5 ? your board goes high our board goes low...and we meet in the middle somewhere..unless your owners are cheapskates and are so desperate for money they become mardy as well.. dragging it out helps neither party... now play nice.

Well please accept my sincere apologies on behalf of the club. How dare we stand in your way of poaching our manager and coaching staff?! What on earth gives us the right to demand adequate compensation?! I'd love it to go to a tribunal to be honest, do your owners have the patience to wait so long?

SKY SPORTS LATEST - It could be the end of the week before Nigel Pearson gets appointed! Makes me laugh as it was supposed to be yesterday, then today or tomorrow.

You should read up on our owner.

He doesn't need the money and he can be very stubborn. I'm not getting "mardy" I'm just stating the facts. If you paid the £2 Million, you would have him, it's as simple as that. Why should we let him go on the cheap?

Vichai Raksriaksorn estimated worth £112.9m - source: http://www.forbes.com/lists/2010/85/thailands-richest-10_Vichai-Raksriaksorn_ZMA9.html
Assem Allam estimated worth £185m - source: http://www.thisishullandeastriding....autious-fans/story-11946789-detail/story.html

We don't need your money, we've got more. It's just our owner is a bit of a tight bugger. But after all, you don't get rich by writing a lot of cheques.

He's also unbelievably stubborn. He loves Squash and was going to host the National Tournament at the KC but is now going to host it somewhere else, maybe even having to build a new venue, because the local council wouldn't let him buy the KC.

Good luck getting him to wilt any time soon!
