Most definately mate 4 year contract with Nike is massive! Absolutely buzzing for tomorrow and next season!!!
Very happy its Nike, now to wait til tomorrow to find out the new sponsors and what the kit looks like
Am I the only one not so happy that its Nike? To my belief they're extremely unethical in the way they make their products, which themselves are rather boring and generic - we'll be wearing practically the same kit as about 40 other teams.
i thought the rumours were just people wishing. but nike has come true... so maybe the o2 rumour will aswell.
To be honest yes I'm happy, very. Unethical? Let's be honest most major brands suffer from this allegation. Apple factories in China have regular suicides with workers jumping from the roof due to awful working conditions, yet people still flock. And common? Kind of. But when it was maicon I noticed nearly every lower tier club shared their name. Nike is generally with the bigger name teams. The board said this was a 5 year plan, they've signed a 4 year deal with Nike just over a year into that plan. shows me the board have convinced Nike that this plan isn't a dream but a plan with foundation. Maybe I'm just gullible! But I like it!
Reminds me of Forest's kit from this season. But a million times better because it doesn't have the Forest badge on it
Not sure my opinion on it, dislike the fact that its made by nike and that its not at all unique, but I guess its quite simple which a lot of fans like. If rumours of o2 are to be believed, we're gonna look like a rugby team though...
Smartest shirt we've ever had IMO. I always wanted a nice plain red one without any pointless white bits. And without sounding too much like gok wan, I like the slightly darker red.
I like it. But the socks will be crucial. Plain red or plain white will do the job. Hoops or silly flashes will wreck the whole thing
That is our kit? Really. Its bloody awful, a golfing shirt. Come on Nike. Some little kid gets paid 20p a hour in korea to make that shirt, at least give it some style and embroidery and let them earn their wages. What imagination has gone into that shirt?
I'm a fan of a plain shirt. Agree about the socks, Jim. Red top, white shorts and red socks will do the job.
I play in a green variety of this same Nike kit design for my club, all I can say is that it is very very comfortable. Also having worn the shirt week in, week out, the number and sponsor etc hasn't worn off so if you are intending on buying this shirt, you shouldn't have the same problem many people have had with the Macron kit.
