Yup, Ireland is a happier place to live than Great Britain. Not sure if that includes Northern Ireland or not though. So let that be an end to the discussions on here.

Well my brother stays in Sweden and they are in general the most boring and unhappy people you could ever wish to meet.

I'm not surprised about Denmark as they are a different kettle of fish, great fun and very friendly.

I agree 100% ER. The Norwegains and Swdes do seem to be pretty dour in comparison with the Danes who are friendly, very helpful and absolutely bonkers. Copenhagen's a fantatsic city to visit for that very reason

Suicide would be an even bigger problem if some of them didn't remember how happy they were in the nick of time and not bother jumping.
