I read somewhere earlier that Stoke won because they were better at being a poorer team than we were. Sums it up, maybe?

He´s just saying what a lot of us have already said Dave, but however fine the intentions of teams might be to go there and play ´their own game´, they will inevitably to some degree, be dragged down to Stoke´s level. As already mentioned, they´re past masters at turning the game into a physical slugging contest. Glad it´s over, now we can hopefully get back to some football.

As good as we know Lambert is, with every game that passes he learns more about his players and this league. If he feels he made a mistake, you can be sure that when we play Stoke again, he won't make the same mistake. (if he's still here, obviously)

Never read such rubbish in my life as in that article. Obviously the majority that post on here with the exception of a few more sensible posters were not at the game but watching it from some sketchy dodgy Arabic satellite stream.
Norwich were poor because we made you poor. Nothing to do with trying to match us or play our game we basically annihilated you yesterday. We stopped you from playing by hard work and harassing every player that got the ball. In the end none of your players wanted the ball and treated it like an hot potato and just hoofed anywhere for some respite. We out classed you and out worked you and out played you. Swansea the week before played better than you and QPR even better than Swansea. Holt is a pansy and you pushed shoved and pulled all through the game. No wonder you are known as the canaries chirping ****e all the time!

I'm surprised at the amount of bile that you budgies have heaped on Stoke. Isn't it the case that deep down you Budgies want to emulate what Stoke have achieved over the last four years? You have had a great season and you should be congratulated for over achieving but its a little early to start giving it the big'un. Stoke are a stable Premiership club who have earned the right to play in the premiership and have progressed into European competition. It just seems really childish that you are bemoaning the fact that they beat you at their place and criticising their style of play. You lost! Just get over it! <ok>

Mate, you won the game, despite the throw in controversy you deserved it too. It was a bloody awful game to watch, and neither team looked good on balance. We normally play it on the deck a lot more, but tried to win ugly this time. Didn't work, and we played terribly because of it. Personally i hope we don't play that style again, it didn't leave much room for the football i like to watch, but it works very well for you and that has to be respected, if not envied. So lets all move on.

John not nearly as much bile as the fans heaped on Jonny Walters yesterday with their song "you'll always be scum" but it was good to see him go up to them at the end of the game two fists raised and laughing!

That was so funny - a grown man shaking his fist! I bet he stuck his tongue out and stamped his foot as well! <doh>

You were told numerous times about the reason for taunting Walters, but you just don't listen!
