.......That Gills lost today.... nor was the ref (( or linesmen )) to blame that Gills didn't score today - yesterday, last week, last year etc etc etc..... It is not the referee or linesmen who are paid to play with the ball... Gills lost and failed to score because they were not good enough ( again ) --- against a very ordinary L2 side. I've said before - Gills are in L2 for a reason - they are not good enough for much else...To their credit, they probably tried their best ( in the 2nd half ) - but the 'best' from Gills was very poor - and that is why they failed to score and lost - despite the crap officials, The referee, and the Gordon Road side linesman, in the second half today, were shockingly bad... The referee lost the plot in terms of allowing all 11 Bradford player to remain on the pitch... Platt ( No.5 ) owes his team mate a few pints - for 'taking' a booking ! How on Earth did the ref get the wrong man ?.... Perhaps his eye sight failed him ! ....just like it failed him not to award Gills a penalty late in the half..... and it appears that vision was in short supply in the linesman - who failed to notice that Hawkins was practically devoid of his shirt by the end of the game!........ Seriously, some of the shirt pulling was incredibly obvious - yet - nothing. I have watched many, many games - but - I have rarely seen the referee giving so many poor decisions in favour of The Gills - it always seems that referees at Priestfield all wear the colours of our opponents on the day....I find their decisions so intolerably bad that I can only conclude that, far from being bad at their jobs, they must be cheating ! I don't particularly want Gills to win by cheating / incompetent or cheating officials - but - neither do I want them to lose by cheats against them..... Gills players can lose without the other team / officials being allowed to cheat.
