Yeah, because getting beat away by a team pushing for Europe is the same as getting beat by a mid-table side at home. Really, you WILL make an ass of yourself.
A loss is a loss, and a heavy loss is a heavy loss. The day we start using technicallities to define footy banter is the day i start watching ****ing water polo.
see your not paying much attention to YOUR match, as it's on now and you are ????????? correct on OUR board..
What has being on the NUFC board got to do with watching the match? The only thing happening over there is everyone getting pissed off. It's hardly gripping football anyway when we're getting beat and have no way out of it.
I disagree with that like, and you would too. If you face a top side with plenty of quality, then you sort of don't expect much, so when it doesn't pay off, it's not the end of the world. If you guys got heavily beat away by a team like Liverpool, Spurs, City or any of the higher ones, it's a weak point to WUM you guys over. I certainly wouldn't bother, anyway. However, getting heavily beat at home by an average mid-table side is something a tad more wum-worthy, don't you think? If that happened to us (and it has before) I'd certainly expect some very deserving wummage in our direction. But hey, maybe that's just me. I pick and choose my wum moments carefully so I don't look like a tit when it's either extremely hypocritical or utterly backfires.
Oh i agree, it is a tad. But i don't wum, i only defend against wumming, so for me a 3-0 loss is a 3-0 loss (There'll be no dancing men, boring, repetetive, and not even offensive, i'd be embarrased to use them)
Bumblebore has been itching to send the dancing men over to our board all day after the light wumming from us last night. Itching like crazy. He'll either do it anyway, or realise that he'll just get utterly swamped with '0 - 3' comments and simmer down. I don't know why some people think one day makes all the difference. If Sunderland and Newcastle we're both playing on the same day, and both got beat 3-0 at the same time (say both have a 3pm kickoff), do you think wums from each side would cross over to their opponents boards and start wumming? That would be, well, I don't know really. Strange.
Your totally right mate, but it's Newcastle/Sunderland, so plenty from both sides would be balls deep on the others boards giving it the big 'un, it's just the way it is. I wouldn't join in in that scenario, but i'd still have a good chuckle at the verbals
